Slideshows, swapping and fading images just make a blog or website that little more attractive. It adds some movement to your site and creates attention.

But traditionally slide shows were always done in Flash. Flash can get rather big, as well as have a reputation for not being SEO friendly.

Then there is always the JavaScript way. But you have to be some guru to either write one or understand how it works.

I was looking for an easy way of creating some picture fading effects. I didn’t have much time, so I didn't want to re-write some JavaScript. Nor did I want a Flash solution.
