Here is a little something that will bring a smile to your face. We all need to laugh now and then. After all it is prescribed as the best medicine.
Three ladies we’re sitting around a table in a restaurant having dinner. Chatting about their work day when one of the younger woman's hand starts to vibrate, then a strange sound starts emitting from the woman's hand. It almost sounds like a cell phone ringtone.
To the surprise of the other two, she motions her hand towards her ear and starts talking into her palm. After a few minutes there is a click sound, and the conversation seems to have ended.
Surprised, the other women ask what in the world that was all about. She says, "Oh, that's new technology. I had a cell phone chip implanted into my hand. Now I can never lose my phone and I am always an arms length away from a good conversation. Always in touch."
Bewildered they carry on eating.
Next moment the second woman’s arms starts to vibrate and a strange bell ring sounds is emitting from her arm. She turns to her arm and starts reading, then with a smile starts typing. When she finishes, the others look at her puzzled.
What was that all about. She answers, “Oh that's advancement in technology. I had a computer implanted into my arm. Now I can send and receive email, browse the web, work off line.”
The third woman started to feel a bit left out. She has no such fantastic technology implanted anywhere in her body. She is just a plan old Jane. What can she do, how can she trump this?
She stands up and says to the other two that she has to go to the ladies room to powder her nose.
A few minutes later she returns. Strangely and embarrassingly she has some toilet paper protruding out from the back of her skirt. The other two ladies point to her behind and in unison say, “What's that?”.
The young women turns her head around in an effort to look behind her. When she sees the toilet paper, nonchalantly she replays, “Oh, I must be receiving a fax.”
