Afrigator Goes PING!

Afrigator has suffered over the last few months with problems of pinging blogs and ignoring blog feeds. As a result many posts were not listed n the latest blogs of Afrigater, thereby potentially loosing a lot of traffic for bloggers. While Aggregators like Amatomu have a manual ping facility, Afrigator had none. Up until now that is.
Just released, Afrigator now has given you the ability to ping your blog manually. Thereby jumping the scheduled delayed ping queue set by Afrigator.
I was one of the first to test this out. So far, it works like a bomb. Try it out. Log in to your Afrigator account, go to your dashboard, then you will see a new button under your blog, called "Ping Blog". Click it and your blog is pinged, and Afrigator is updated. There is a slight delay, but I believe that will be fixed.
Although this is only the first round of Afrigators manual pinging, and that it is not a "Silver Bullet". It does work for now. I do suspect that it will undergo various iterations, and bugs will need to be ironed out. So if you find a bug, contact the guys at Afrigator and report it.
I say, Well done Afrigator team. Long time coming.
