Download the Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio and SDK and get free Azure tokens to try out the platform.  The tokens will be valid until the end of November. All that you have to do is to start the download from the eval centre at:

and forward the registration email that you receive to Microsoft at sadpblog@microsoft.com with the subject line Azure Token and Microsoft will send out the free tokens to you.

What is Azure

Windows Azure is a cloud services operating system that serves as the development, service hosting and service management environment for the Windows Azure platform.

In addition, Windows Azure supports popular standards and protocols including SOAP, REST, and XML.

But don’t stop there, because with Windows Azure you can support other popular languages such as Java, PHP and Ruby.

Use the SDK to develop Windows Azure Applications, then use the free tokens to try out the platform. The Windows Azure allows you to have the cloud on your desktop. It allows you to build and then run applications on your desktop machine just as though they were running in the cloud.
