Being a programmer can be hard on the old grey matter at times. Especially when there is so much to remember, and so many languages to remember it in. Enter the Cheat sheet.
Being a programmer can be hard on the old grey matter at times. Especially when there is so much to remember, and so many languages to remember it in.
I am not talking about spoken languages but about programming languages, scripts and syntax. I mean you have to remember HTML Tags, SQL syntax, PHP, C#, VB.NET, .NET framework. XHTMS, CSS, dBASE, MySQL, Javascript etc, the list goes on.
Now I am getting on in the years. Although I like to believe that I can remember quite a lot. But there is just too much. Don't you sometimes get some of your syntax mixed up. So sometimes know that there is a function somewhere or class somewhere that can do what you want, but you just can't remember. Maybe a tag that your looking for, but cant remember. Well then its time to cheat.
Enter the Cheat sheet. A set of concise and most imports aspects of any given language or script. Download them, print them out, and stick them up aon the wall above your monitor.
I found some great sites that have a whole bunch of cheat sheets free for download. Some might have cross linking, but I am sure that this will help many people out there
