How do I make my blog work? How can I encourage people to follow my blog? How to I attract people to read my posts?

How do I make my blog work? How can I encourage people to follow my blog? How to I attract people to read my posts? Here are some ideas on the types of posts to write that will enhance your blog and bring the readership in. In turn it will increase you traffic and eventually you blog rankings.

1. Write something first.

Blogs are like news agencies. Its all about timing. Nobody wants to read old news. So the trick is to  be the first to write about some topic.

2. Write bout something unique.

Nobody wants to read old news. New and unique content will always draw readers away from other blogs that have duplicate content.

3. Write Something newsworthy.

If its in the news, write about it but don't repeat the news. Write about news that no one else has written about.

5. Write something controversial.

This always bring readers. Not necessary one that agree. But it will generally spawn comments

6. Write with passion.

If you are not passionate about what you write, how do you expect your readers to be passionate about what you write and longing to return to read the next article. If youre blogging just for the sake of blogging, you've missed the boat.

7. Write something that solves a problem.

The internet is a wealth of information. millions of people are searching faily for problems that they have and are looking for solutions. Writing "HowTo's" will always bring in the traffic in the long run. Become a problem solver.

8. Write about what people fear.

Fear is a very string emotion. People don't like to be afraid. Write about what they are afraid about, and how to calm their fears.

9. Be inspirational.

People like to be inspired. They like to be encouraged. We all know that at this moment in time we need a lot of encouragement.

10. Give people a sense of belonging.

Write about your country, social group, church, beliefs, community.

Happy blogging.
