1001 Websites to view before you die

There are many lists floating around, contain a list of things to do before you die. Like 101 books to read before you die, 10 places to visit before you die, 1001 movies to see before you die. But I have not come across any website lists to see before you die.
Being in IT, and Programming, and a web developer, I spend most of my time in front of my computer. I spend an enormous amount of time on the internet. Naturally because I develop websites.
I have seen some awful websites in my time, as well as some very good looking websites. Some have been very informative, while others have nothing to offer but just look great.
If you have ever browsed the web, you would surely have come across some fantastic websites. I would like to compile a list of these great websites. What I would like you to do is to list as many as you like, some of the website address that you think are great. They can be great looking, have great information. Maybe the website provides you a great service, maybe it helped you out of a bind.
It would be interesting to see how many we can get. So come on, post a list, why don’t you.
