Free software is a matter of freedom not of price. So says the Free Software Foundation (FSF). Open Source Software although mostly free is slightly different. The term “open source” software is used by some people to mean more or less the same category as free software.

On 25 August, Sony announced the third member of its new Reader family – the Reader Daily Edition™ and a new library content service. The Reader Daily Edition has a seven-inch touch screen with 16 levels of gray as well as a AT&T 3G modem, enabling it to pull content wirelessly. It'll launch in December for $400. Along side that Google as made available more than a million eBooks for the Sony eBook reader. |

Much has been said about racism in South Africa. Many people choosing to focus on us and highlight the terrible wrongs that have been done in the past as well as the present. The internet has certainly changed our lives. Some would argue that it has improved it. One thing is for sure, we are more connected. We can share more. From photo’s to videos, we can splash it all over the internet for all to see.
In the past, the internet was not that media friendly. We were amazed when we were able to display small pictures on our websites. Now we can show all types of media. From sound to video. |

Blogs are easy to start but difficult to maintain, and even more difficult to grow and make successful. If you haven't picked up on this yet, your readers are your blogs most valued asset. Without them your blog is just an HTML page amongst billions. Email a new reader or commenter to build that relationship and build your blog.

While testing the new Visual Studio 2010 and the new C# 4.0 I’ve been able to play with some of the new features. We have already looked at Dynamic Types and Named Parameters. In this post we are going to look at Optional Parameters.
